A 37-year-old Pinellas Park man is dead and a 28-year-old woman is seriously injured after a car crash Friday night in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was driving north on US-19 south of Meridian Boulevard at about 9 p.m. The woman was his passenger. A second car was also headed in the same direction along US-19.
The man overtook the other car and collided, causing his car to flip and eject the woman, according to officers.
The woman has critical injuries. The man, who was not named by police, died at a hospital.
The driver and passenger of the other car both sustained minor injuries.
