Pinellas County announced that all 8,000 of its slots for vaccination appointments for next week had run out by 2:30 p.m. Saturday, less than an hour after the website to book appointments went live.

There isn’t expected to be any more vaccination appointments available in the county until the week of Jan. 31.

Residents who were unable to book appointments today are still encouraged by the Florida Department of Health to register an account at patientportalfl.com to make for easier scheduling. Slots will begin to open up again next Saturday afternoon.
