A 28-year-old man from Seffner died after he lost control of his pickup truck on I-4 and was ejected from the vehicle early Saturday in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver was driving at a high rate of speed, he was not wearing a seatbelt and there were no passengers in his vehicle, according to the highway patrol’s report.
The vehicle was headed westbound and approaching the I-75 interchange when the incident occurred at 12:53 a.m., with the vehicle leaving the roadway and overturning in the median, investigators said.
