A woman died early Saturday morning after she failed to negotiate a curve and her vehicle struck a tree in Pinellas Park, according to a Pinellas Park Police Department news release.
Jerrica Cole was pronounced dead after she was taken to a local hospital following the single-vehicle crash, the news release said. Officers said they responded to the crash around 12:45 a.m. at Lake Allen Drive and 118th Avenue.
Investigators said fire department personnel worked to remove Cole from the vehicle after she left the road on 118th Avenue, west of Lake Allen Drive.
The crash remains under investigation.
