A crash on Interstate 75 resulted in the deaths of two men in their 70s early Sunday morning, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Around 6:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash near Milepost 235 on I-75, where a sedan traveling southbound collided with several trees in the median. There were no other cars involved in the crash, and the driver lost control of the car for “unknown reasons,” according to the report.
The driver, 72, and the passenger, 75, were Ohio residents. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
