Detectives are looking for a man who robbed a SunTrust bank in Carrollwood Friday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
A man wearing a Tampa Bay Lightning cap walked into a bank on 12902 N Dale Mabry Highway around 5:30 p.m. and pointed a gun at a teller while demanding money, according to the release. The sheriff’s office did not disclose how much money he took.
The suspect fled on foot, the statement said. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and sweatpants and could have tattoos on his left hand.
No one was injured during the robbery, Sheriff Chad Chronister said in the statement. Law enforcement asked anyone with information to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200.
