A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 275 caused traffic backups on the Dick Misener Bridge for several hours Friday.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the bridge around 4:44 p.m., according to Sgt. Steve Gaskins of the Florida Highway Patrol.
No injuries have been reported at this time, he said.
The Florida Department of Transportation’s FL511 Tampa Bay initially classified the traffic backup as “major,” but it reports that it is clear now.
An earlier version of this story misspelled the name of the Dick Misener Bridge. This story has been updated.
