BRANDON — The man suspected in a shooting at the Westfield Brandon mall has been identified. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Quran Deandre Johnson, 19. Johnson faces multiple charges, including attempted second degree murder.

As of noon on Saturday, authorities had not been able to locate him. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200. If you would like to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).

The Westfield Brandon mall was briefly on lockdown Friday after the shooting injured one person. Deputies responded to reports that two men were arguing near the Club Vape kiosk. The men continued their argument outside the mall. That’s when Johnson allegedly shot the other man, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting victim was taken to Tampa General Hospital with an injury that is not believed to be life-threatening, the Sheriff’s Office said on Friday.
