Stretch of Boy Scout Boulevard in Tampa reopens after crash involving vehicle, motorcycle

A section of the boulevard between North Manhattan Avenue and North Lois Avenue reopened about 12:30 a.m., police said.

TAMPA — A fatal crash closed part of West Boy Scout Boulevard in both directions Thursday night, according to the Tampa Police Department.

The collision, which involved a vehicle and a motorcycle, took place in the area of West Boy Scout Boulevard and North Manhattan Avenue around 8:11 p.m., police said.

Boy Scout Boulevard was closed between North Manhattan Avenue and North Lois Avenue in both directions until 12:30 a.m., the department said in a news release.

All parties involved in the crash stayed at the scene, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
