HUDSON — The driver of a van struck and killed a man walking on a Hudson street early Wednesday, troopers said.
A 59-year-old Hudson man was driving east on Bolton Avenue approaching Omaha Street about 12:01 a.m. when he hit the man who was walking in the travel lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The pedestrian, a 51-year-old Hudson man, died at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol did not name the driver or the pedestrian.
