A tractor trailer carrying hundreds of pounds of food and drink caught fire early Saturday morning while traveling south on I-75 in Hillsborough County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Nobody was injured, officials said.

The fire began with the vehicle’s brake system and then spread throughout the rest of the trailer, according to officials. Fire personnel responded just after 6 a.m.

A Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson did not provide details about the truck’s intended destination, but markings on the trailer were for KeHE Distributors, which contracts with grocery stores across the nation, including Publix.

The fire temporarily diverted southbound traffic. All lanes have since opened.
