Pinellas man dies after being pulled from travel trailer fire, deputies say

A 68-year-old man pulled from a burning travel trailer in an RV park in unincorporated Largo died Thursday, according to Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Pinellas deputies responded to a structure fire call in the Richmar RV park at 10675 Seminole Blvd. at about 11:45 a.m. When deputies arrived, the Seminole Fire Department was fighting the fire.

Firefighters pulled Clayton Wilson from the burning travel trailer. Wilson was taken to a local hospital where he died, deputies said.

Deputies said the fire does not appear suspicious.

The medical examiner’s office in Pinellas County will conduct an autopsy to determine Wilson’s cause of death.
