Deputies want to solve Plant City hit-and-run that injured woman

PLANT CITY — Deputies are seeking information about a hit-and-run crash Thursday night that left a 23-year-old woman in critical condition. Brittany Disanto was being treated at Lakeland Regional Hospital, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The incident took place at about 8:45 p.m. on Charlie Griffin Road near the intersection of the James L. Redman Parkway. Disanto was walking east on Charlie Griffin Road when she was struck by an unknown vehicle, deputies said, which then fled the area.
