New traffic signal at Eiland and Handcart
Pasco County officials installed a new traffic signal Monday at Eiland Boulevard and Handcart Road in Zephyrhills.
After numerous requests for a traffic signal at the intersection, Pasco County conducted a 30-day traffic operations study of the area. Pasco County Commissioners approved a contract for design plans in 2016 and construction began in March.
Improvements at the intersection also include guard rails and resurfacing.
