TRAP TOURNAMENT FOR 4-H: The Hernando Sportsman's Club will host a 4-H Benefit Trap Tournament on March 3 at the club range, 16121 Commercial Way, north of Weeki Wachee. Registration for shooters starts at 8 a.m.; shooting will begin at 9 a.m.
The tournament is four rounds for a total of 100 shots. Winners will be selected in three categories — youth, adult and senior — determined by the most targets hit.
The cost is $40 per trap shooter. Bring your own gun, ammunition and lawn chair. Proceeds will benefit the club. For information, call the clubhouse at (352) 597-9931.
FUNDRAISER FOR SCHOLARSHIPS: Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10209 will host a fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. March 10 at the post, 14736 Edward R. Noll Drive, Spring Hill.
The event will include a steak dinner, with baked potato, mixed vegetables and dessert, for $10. There will also be auctions and raffles. A cash bar will be available.

VENDORS WANTED FOR 'ART IN THE PARK': Monday is the deadline for vendors wishing to participate in the 28th annual Art in the Park festival, which will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 10 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 11 at Tom Varn Park, 306 Darby Lane, Brooksville.

NORM BERNARD CONCERT: The High Point Concordia Chorus will sponsor a "Sounds of Broadway" concert with Norm Bernard and his band at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the High Point Community Center, 12249 Clubhouse Road, High Point. The concert will include Kim Evans as lead vocalist. The renowned trumpeter and members of his group have individually traveled with the likes of Woody Herman, Benny Goodman, Buddy Morrow and Lionel Hampton.

LOUIS FORTUNATO IN CONCERT: A benefit for the High Point Volunteer Fire Department featuring Louis Fortunato in concert will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the High Point Community Center, 12249 Clubhouse Road, High Point.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Coffee and cake will be served during intermission. There will be drawings. The event is sponsored by the Fire Ladies Auxiliary. There is no cost, though donations are appreciated. Because tickets are limited, it is recommended they be requested early.

COPELAND FOOTBALL CAMP: The Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Horace "Hi-C" Copeland Football Camp at two locations this year:
