Gospel Music Showcase: Ryte Flyte Christian entertainment presents the Flavors of Gospel: Where Righteous Music Meets Delicious Cuisine, from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the Ragin Sports Grill, 1120 E Kennedy Blvd. A variety of Gospel and Christian hip-hop artists will perform. Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W Platt St.: The church presents a summer worship series, Heroes: Women Who Made a Difference, at 8:30, 9:30 and 11 a.m. Sundays through July 15. The series will feature sermons on some of the most misunderstood women in the Gospels, including Mary Magdalene, Abigail, the Samaritan woman at the well, Lydia, Deborah, Miriam, Ruth and Naomi.
