Tampa-based tech company Homee gets $15M in investments

It connects homeowners landlords with companies or people who do repair work on homes.

TAMPA — Homee, a Tampa-based platform that connects homeowners and landlords to home service providers, secured $15 million in an investment round, the company announced Tuesday. Homee has a total of $30 million in investments with the recent addition.

“We launched HOMEE three years ago to change the way homeowners and landlords order home services," Doug Schaedler, CEO, said in a release. “This financing round is especially exciting for the company, as we are pleased to have the participation of three innovative leaders.”

Funding for the investment round came from several existing investors in the company, as well as three new investors: The Hartford Financial Services Group, State Farm Ventures and Ferguson Ventures.

Among its services the company connects homeowners and landlords with are heating and air conditioning technicians, electricians, plumbers and handymen and women.
