7-Eleven opens its first mall location in Brandon

BRANDON — 7-Eleven Inc. is opening its first location in a mall, and Tampa Bay is its pilot. The gas station chain’s Westfield Brandon Mall location opens Thursday at noon, and will offer “customer favorites,” including baked goods, its branded 7-Select snacks and coffee drinks among others.

It will be the first of eight mall locations opening this year.

The mall location “gives customers a place to take a break from shopping and grab one of their favorite 7-Eleven products,” the company said in a release.

Members of its reward program, 7Rewards, have the option to pay just $1 for a medium Slurpee or any size of a hot or regular beverage through the end of 2019 as part of a related promotion.
