Which cars hold their value in Tampa Bay?

For the top spots, think big and rugged.

Not all cars depreciate in value at the same rate.

According to a recent analysis by iSeeCars.com, a used car sales and market research company, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited holds its value best in Tampa Bay with an average of 30 percent depreciation over five years. Jeep Wrangler came in second (31 percent deprecation).

“Jeep Wranglers are known for retaining their value for reasons including their ruggedness, durability, and iconic design,” said Phong Ly, iSeeCars CEO, said. “Because of Jeep’s loyal following, their demand outstrips supply in the used car marketplace leading to high resale values.”

Toyota Tacoma came in No. 3 in the Tampa Bay region (33 percent depreciation), followed by Porsche 911 coupe (35 percent depreciation) and the Toyota Tundra (35 percent depreciation).
