Tampa Bay seems to rack up an endless list of “pet-friendly” accolades. And according to Homes.com, the bay area needs to make room for one more: Tampa is the No. 4 best city for renters who have pets.
According to Homes.com’s recent analysis, nearly 60 percent of the apartments, condos, townhouses and homes available for rent on its site in Tampa are pet friendly. It trailed Louisville, Kentucky (No. 1, 68 percent), Indianapolis (No. 2, 62 percent) and Atlanta (No. 3, 60 percent).
“Any city with over 50 percent pet-friendly rental listings is certainly the safest bet for you and your furry family members,” the analysis said.
Miami was the only Florida city in the analysis’ 25 worst cities for renters with pets, ranking No. 15.
