TAMPA — California-based customer service company Alorica is hiring for 50 positions in its Tampa contact center. The openings include positions in customer service, sales and tech support, and pay between $12 and $15 per hour.

The company emphasized that its positions have the potential for upward mobility.

“I started as an agent on the phones, and now I’m leading a site of 300 people,” said Manny Ramos, site director for the Tampa location.

Alorica has about 120 locations worldwide, and handles customer service for industries such as health care, financial services and transportation and logistics. Applications for the open positions are available on site at 4904 Eisenhower Blvd. S.
