CLEARWATER — Eckerd Connects is merging with an Arizona provider, creating one of the largest workplace development providers in the country.

Arizona’s Odle Management will become a subsidiary of Eckerd Connects, but will remain a separate organization. Together the companies will have operating revenue of $329 million. They will operate in nearly 20 states.

Eckerd Connects, founded in 1968, is Pinellas-Pasco’s main foster care agency. It also has programs to help those in need access education, job skills and juvenile justice services. Odle has long provided academic and career services to undeserved young adults through its nine “Job Corps” campuses across the country, including an existing location in Florida.
