Sprouts Farmers Market in Westchase slated to open next week

TAMPA — Sprouts Farmers Market is opening its latest Florida store in Westchase next week.

The opening, slated for Dec. 9, is the last Florida store the chain will open in the area this year after heavily expanding in the state. The new 30,000-square-foot location is at 10619 Sheldon Road.

The store has already hired 110 new employees and will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Sprouts, which is based in Phoenix, has 23 Florida locations, including the new one in Westchase. Sprouts opened a New Tampa location in August and now has 10 locations around Tampa Bay.

The first 200 shoppers at the Westchase opening the will receive 20 percent off their order.

Sprouts employs about 35,000 people and has more than 350 stores in 23 states.
