If you’ve ever written a song called For the People, now’s the time to break it out.

Morgan and Morgan, the enormous Orlando personal injury law firm with offices in Tampa, is holding a contest for its first-ever commercial jingle. The winner gets $100,000 and a memorable line on their musical resume.

“After 30 years in business, we are in search of a unique and catchy jingle that embodies our dedication to justice,” founder John Morgan said in a statement. “No matter your style, pop, hip-hop, country, or folk, we want to hear what you got.”

Morgan said the prize is also a way to help out a musician who may have struggled during the pandemic, and that it “could significantly change someone’s life.”

The contest asks for “a catchy, unforgettable jingle that pairs well with fighting for justice,” though there are actual rules. The song must include the phrase “For the people” and one of the following: “Dial pound LAW. That’s all”; “America’s largest injury law firm”; or “ForThePeople.com.”

Musicians can enter the contest via social media or online at MorganJingle.com. The deadline to enter is Sept. 26.
