Competition to land top talent remains fierce as companies look to restock and retain employees in the unsteady economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many of those looking to hire entry-level or service jobs have had to hike their pay. More established job seekers may be bargaining for more flexible work arrangements.
Are you proud of your company’s adjustments? Or has your employer remained the same rock-steady operation during these many challenging months?
Consider nominating them as one of the Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces. It may just help your company attract notice from people looking for new jobs or careers.
The Times recently extended its deadline to nominate employers to Oct. 29 as part of its annual survey. Participation has been particularly robust this year as companies look for any and all ways to get themselves on the radar of job seekers.
To nominate your employer, just go here: tampabay.com/nominate. Or call (727) 498-5578.
The Times has been conducting its survey for more than a dozen years. It’s always a fascinating exercise. In March, we publish a list of the Top Workplaces, along with stories about many of the companies recognized, with testimonials from employees, and put a spotlight on those employers singled out for providing strong leadership and direction and other traits employees find valuable.
It’s pretty simple.
You nominate your employer. They must have at least 50 employees located in Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco and Pinellas counties. The employers can be public, private, non-profit or a government.
They employer must agree to participate.
Then our research partner Energage will conduct a confidential, 24-question survey of the nominees’ employees.
Fairly painless. It costs nothing. And your company potentially ends up with bragging rights for the next year.
Take advantage of the deadline extension and submit your nomination today.
