Every Uber or Lyft rider has been there: After a night out in Ybor or downtown St. Pete, you leave your iPhone behind in the car.

Or your date does. Or your best friend. Maybe you leave your wallet. Or your cast-iron skillet.

Wait. What? Yup. That's happened.

Uber released its annual list of the items most often left behind in drivers' cars in Tampa Bay and across the country.

Here are the most frequently forgotten items locally:

1. Phone

2. Keys

3. Wallet

4. Glasses

5. Clothing

6. Bag/Purse

7. Vape (electronic cigarette)

8. Backpack

9. Money

10. ID/License

Then, there's the fun stuff.

The Tampa Bay area's list of strangest and most surprising items is as follows: cast-iron skillet, birth certificate, mammogram results, a safe, wedding bands, retainers, baby pictures, a fishing rod, an Xbox 360, The Bible, a Tampa Bay Lightning Jersey, NHL All-Star Game souvenirs, and tickets to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.

When Uber expands that list to across the country there are some real gems, including some abandoned divorce papers, a marriage certificate and a slice of pizza.

The most forgetful city, according to Uber, is DuBois, Penn. And the time you're most likely to forget an item — no surprise — is between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.

If you realize you forgot an item in a car, you can contact Uber through the app to get reunited with your lost item(s).

Unless you really don't care if you ever see that wedding band again because you purposefully left it behind with your divorce papers.

To each their own.
