The California based fast-casual burger concept Burgerim that has quickly grown in various locations since its first location opened in 2011, has reached Tampa and is slated to open this fall at 808 N Franklin St.

Spokesperson Ashley Lindley says when the burger concept first started, they had a goal of slowly and steadily changing the way people order and enjoy fast food, but itís popularity drove demand for the franchises. The operation is 100 percent franchised based and has 160 locations worldwide.

"Our goal was to do well, develop our brand and get people trained," Lindley said.

"We made it simple that people that may not even have owned a business before could jump right in."

The concept specializes in mini gourmet burger sliders with three-ounce patties that can be customized with beef, turkey, salmon, chicken, falafel, vegan burgers and more. Guests also have the freedom to customize the burger with different toppings and sauces.

The mini-sliders are available in one, two, three count and a 16 count party box.

Lindley speaks confidently about the new downtown Tampa location because of the brandís focus on operating in thriving areas where millennials like to go.

"WeĎre always looking to be in the center of whatís new and upcoming and we want to be a part of the younger generation that appreciates having choices and fun," she said.

"Millennials always want to be about something new. The music is loud, the lights are flashing itís sensory overload so I know itís something they canít find anywhere else."

The mini-sliders come on a potato bun and are available in one, two, three and a 16 count party box served with either fries, onion rings or sweet potato fries.

In addition, all stores serve beer and wine at its signature U-shaped bar. Prices start at $6.99 for one mini-burger and increase to $34.99 for a 16-count party box. Burgerim also offers a $45.99 family box with eight burgers, eight wings, fries and onion rings.
