Air Transat will offer seasonal nonstop flights to Toronto and Montreal from Tampa International Airport beginning Feb. 18.
The nonstop flights to and from Tampa will be weekly on Sundays through April 2018. Air Transat announced the new Tampa service, as well as seasonal service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, this week.
"We'll be offering flights to Tampa, a city that is already well-known among Canadian travelers. Tampa boasts lots of great restaurants, not to mention outdoor activities and, of course, beautiful beaches," said Annick Guérard, president and general manager of Transat Tours Canada, in a statement.
Based in Montreal, Air Transat serves three million passengers to 60 destinations in 25 countries. The company operates a fleet of Boeing narrow-body and Airbus wide-body jets.
