TAMPA — Spirit Airlines announced Tuesday that it will offer daily nonstop service between Tampa and Baltimore starting in November.

The new route will kick off on Nov. 10 between Tampa International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, located about 30 miles northeast of the nation's capital. While ticket prices will vary, the cost of a one-way ticket is now on sale starting at $68.09, according to the airline's website.

"Florida's Gulf Coast is the ideal candidate for a winter getaway," Spirit wrote in the announcement.

The airline is also adding flights between Baltimore and Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers.
