A Tampa-based air conditioning and heating services company which recently filed for bankruptcy appears to have left several customers in the lurch for services.
CM HVAC Holdings, parent company of CGM Services, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in mid-April. However, Google currently lists the business as "permanently closed." The only contact number listed on its site kicks directly to a full voicemail box.
And several of its customers have taken to social media to say they haven't heard from the company for weeks.
One Facebook commenter requested a response from CGM Services after a technician had not shown up for a pre-paid scheduled service in April, and calls to the company went unanswered. Two other commenters said they, too, were not able to reach CGM Services.

As of Friday afternoon, CM HVAC's lawyer had not returned requests for comment.
According to bankruptcy documents, the company owes about $6.8 million in unsecured claims to a variety of creditors. CM HVAC is disputing five of the debts.
The company has been active in the Tampa Bay community for nearly three decades. "At CGM Services we believe that businesses and individuals should do their part in helping the community," CGM said on its website.
Until recently, reviews on CGM's Facebook page were largely glowing — out of 53 reviews, 45 were five stars, the maximum rating, and one was four stars.
"We have benefitted from over 20 years of outstanding, personalized service with and from CGM at several different homes in Hillsborough and Pinellas," one commenter wrote. "CGM — second to none. They're the best!"
CGM Services has a "D minus" rating with the Better Business Bureau. It had one positive review and three complaints. According to the BBB page, its low grade was in part because CGM Services did not respond to two of the complaints.
