Katie Pemble resigns from C1 Bank market president job

Longtime area banker Katie Pemble has resigned from C1 Bank and from the boards of the bank and C1 Financial, the St. Petersburg-based bank's holding company.

"Since joining the bank in 2010, Katie has served in a number of important roles, most recently as Florida market president where she was an important voice for C1 Bank in the community," stated C1 Bank CEO Trevor Burgess. "Please join me in thanking Katie for the contributions she has made to C1 Bank."

The $1.7-billion-asset bank did not elaborate on the reason for Pemble's resignation.

Pemble previously held senior area positions at Bank of America, Bank of St. Petersburg and Florida Bank Group.
