Nine Tampa Bay companies were chosen for Florida Trend's annual "Best Companies to work for in Florida" list.
Among the midsized companies, Tampa Bay firms included Tampa's Premier Eye Care (No. 3), Clearwater's Bouchard Insurance (No. 7), St. Petersburg's Trenam Law (No. 14) and Tampa's Convergence Consulting (No. 29).
Tampa Bay also accounted for several spots on in the "small" category. Tampa's Clearview Land Design came in at No. 14, followed by St. Petersburg's Squaremouth (30), Tampa's EMS Consulting (32), Palm Harbor's Alltrust Insurance (35) and Tampa's Atlas Professional Services (36).
The list evaluates companies that nominate themselves on factors such as workplace policies, demographics, philosophy and employee satisfaction. It is divided into three size categories — large, midsized and small.
