USF expected to unveil large gift to Muma College of Business

Published Feb. 16, 2015

TAMPA — The University of South Florida said it will make a "significant announcement" regarding its Muma College of Business today, an event expected to introduce a new donor and a fresh commitment of millions of dollars to the USF business school. USF offered no details about the donor.

In a news alert, the university indicated USF System president Judy Genshaft, USF Foundation CEO Joel Momberg — who is in charge of university fundraising — and Muma College of Business dean Moez Limayem will all participate in the announcement, to be held this morning at the USF Muma College of Business.

In October, USF announced it had received a $25 million gift from Pam and Les Muma to rename the College of Business, the single largest individual gift in university history. The Mumas are expected to be in attendance today.
