Last year, more than 31,000 employees from 184 companies in the Tampa Bay area told us how much they liked their jobs.
The result was our sixth annual special section identifying the region's top workplaces.
Now it's time to do it again. The Tampa Bay Times is accepting nominations for its Top Workplaces 2016 edition. Maybe your employer can crack the Top 100.
If you love your job and your company, this is a way to show it off, just as employees with Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel did last year when it was named the top workplace among companies with more than 500 employees.
Hyatt Hotels and Resorts-Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay took the top spot among midsize companies (150 to 499 employees) while Beck Group in Tampa was tops among firms with 50 to 149 employees.
Here's how it works:
Any employee can nominate an organization. The Times' research partner, WorkplaceDynamics, will contact nominated organizations and ask them to participate in a survey.
WorkplaceDynamics ranks employers within their size category solely on employee responses to the survey. The Times doesn't choose the winners; the employees of the companies do.
Any organization — public, private, government or nonprofit — with at least 50 employees in the Tampa Bay area can participate. The deadline to nominate your company is Oct. 23.
A special section featuring the top workplaces will publish in the spring.
It is free to participate and every organization that participates will receive feedback on its workplace.
