ST. PETERSBURG --U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist and his estranged wife, Carole, have sold their Beach Drive condo for $1.35 million — $313,100 more than they paid for it three years ago.
The three-bedroom, two-bath unit in Parkshore Plaza hit the market in June at an original asking price of $1.5 million. The buyers are Susan and Daniel McGeown of The Villages as trustees for a revocable trust.

The Crists, who married in 2008 while he was governor and a Republican, announced their split shortly after he took his congressional seat as a Democrat early last year. There has been no activity in their divorce case since May, according to Pinellas County court records.
In January 2017, the Crists sold a house on St. Pete Beach for just over $1 million. They had bought that for $906,250 at a time when Crist was considering a run for the House but didn't know how congressional boundaries would be redrawn and whether his main residence in downtown St. Petersburg would be in a predominantly Democratic district.
Crist was an independent when he unsuccessfully ran for the U.S. Senate in 2010.
