Here's a look at the new tower planned for downtown St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG — Still no word on who the developer is, but this is what a 25-story mixed-used tower planned for downtown St. Petersburg will look like. Designed by the local architectural firm Behar Peteranecz, the tower at 232 2nd St. N near the Sundial entertainment and shopping center will have 100 residences and ground-level shops. Plans call for the Fit2Run clothing and apparel store now on the site to temporarily move to another spot downtown but it eventually could be in the tower, said Melissa Rutland, consultant for the so-far anonymous developer.
