Judging from loan applications, it looks the Tampa Bay area will be among the most popular destinations for people planning to move and buy a home in the next 30 days.
ATTOM Data Solutions, the parent company of RealtyTrac, says its analysis of applications found that the bay area ranked fourth among places nationwide where future home buyers plan to settle.
The most popular is Colorado Springs, followed by Charleston, S.C. and Raleigh, N.C.
Among those planning to buy a second home, three Florida cities --- Naples, Fort Myers and Sarasota --- ranked among the top five, while those looking to invest prefer Memphis, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Durham-Chapel Hill, N.C. and Dayton, Ohio.
