DADE CITY — Southeastern Grocers has reopened its latest remodeled Winn-Dixie in Pasco County.
The store at 12649 Highway 301 is the eighth Winn-Dixie to reopen with the brand's sleek look in Tampa Bay. The location has been in Dade City for 23 years.
The new store opened Thursday has an upgraded facade and W-D's new color palette, featuring red, white and black. The produce department has been expanded, the bakery improved and a hot bar added.
The store also has a $1 section with 600 everyday items.
The chain remodels come after W-D's parent company promised to overhaul its brand after emerging from bankruptcy earlier this year.
