Heinz is leaving the fate of a potential new product in the hands of Twitter voters.
The company announced a vote Wednesday to decide whether it would let Heinz Mayochup, a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup, hit store shelves in the U.S.
As of Thursday afternoon, more than 490,000 people have voted on their Twitter poll. Voters have until Sunday to let their voices be heard. If 500,000 vote in its favor, the company will roll it out to stores.
Want #mayochup in stores? 500,000 votes for "yes" and we'll release it to you saucy Americans.
Some Twitter users were passionate about getting the product on shelves and dinner tables.

See you soon
While there's a fair share of Mayochup backers, some on Twitter are a little unsure of the product's name.

Why not Tomayo ?! ¯\_(?)_/¯
But what if we put it on a burger...
Some aren't sure if the product should even exist.
We will not.
