ST. PETERSBURG — More than 130 local artists, businesses nonprofits and community organizations will participate in this year's Shopapalooza Festival hosted by LocalShops1. On Saturday and Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to sunset at South Straub Park, between the Museum of Fine Arts and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, the annual festival known as Tampa Bay's local alternative to Black Friday will also feature entertainment, demonstrations and painting. Shopapalooza, now in its seventh year, is sponsored by the city. The event helps benefit and spotlight local businesses as well as local nonprofits, including Chart 411 and Earth Day St. Pete.
