King Engineering Associates Inc., Tampa, announces the addition of Richard Dutter and Cynthia Spidell to the company. Dutter has been named vice president of planning, landscape architecture and urban design and brings more than 40 years of experience to the King Engineering team. Between 1987 and 1999, Dutter was employed by King and served as Planning Manager and member of King Engineering's board of directors. For the past sixteen years Dutter has opened a commercial real estate company, DUTTERealty.COM Inc., a durable medical equipment company, capitol Medical Supply LLC, a real estate investment and development company, Dutter Realty Acquisitions Inc., and held the position of urban designer for Pasco County. He earned both his bachelor's degree in landscape architecture and master's degrees in city and regional planning from Rutgers University. Spidell joined King as principal planner for King's planning, landscape architecture and urban design department. Prior to joining King, Spidell worked for the Pasco County Board of Commissioners for eleven years where she functioned as a planner II, senior planner/DRI coordinator and capital budget coordinator. She earned dual bachelor of arts degrees in economics and German language and literature from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She earned her master's in business administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona.
Dr. Hector Arango has joined BayCare Medical Group and is accepting new patients at 1005 Pinellas St., Clearwater. Arrango is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology with an advanced certification in gynecologic oncology. For more than 20 years, Arango has been providing gynecological cancer care in the Tampa Bay area and is an expert in robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery for gynecological malignancies. After earning his doctor of medicine from the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, Arango completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at USF. He also completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.
Katherine M. Bonney has been appointed vice president of quality and patient safety at Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill. Bonney comes to Oak Hill Hospital from Baptist Health in Montgomery, Ala., where she was system director of quality and patient safety since 2013. She was promoted to that position from director of patient safety at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. Bonney is a registered nurse with a clinical background and extensive leadership experience in quality, patient safety, case management, and risk management. She earned her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Westbrook College in Maine, and an associate degree in nursing from Westbrook College.
Scott Holden has been named area president and branch manager of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Tampa. Scott has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, focusing on both public and private companies in the technology, broadcasting, social service, and education industries. He has been with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Tampa for 17 years as a producer, and now will oversee all branch operations, including sales management, new business development, producer and service team recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, and P&L management. He earned a business degree in finance from the University of South Florida.
Elizabeth Miller has been named state president, Florida, at Wellcare Health Plans Inc., Tampa. Miller will have responsibility for WellCare's Medicaid and Medicare Advantage businesses across the state, including strategy, regulatory compliance, network management, sales and marketing, medical management, finance and administration. Miller joined WellCare in 2012 and has served as the Florida market's chief operating officer since 2014. Previously, she was the market's vice president of product operations, where she was responsible for WellCare's successful bid and implementation of Florida's Managed Medical Assistance Medicaid program. Prior to joining WellCare, Miller held corporate and field leadership roles with Genesis Healthcare, and network management and health service leadership roles with UnitedHealth Group. She earned a master's of business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and master's and bachelor's degrees in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew M. Brown has joined Murray, Morin & Herman P.A. in the firm's Tampa office. Brown's practice focuses on complex general liability as well as aviation litigation cases. Prior to joining Murray, Morin & Herman PA, Brown was an associate at the Tampa office of Cole, Scott & Kissane. He attended Geneva College where he dual majored in history and aviation. Upon graduation, Brown flew as a pilot domestically for US Airways Express and internationally for AAR Airlift, a charter operation in Afghanistan. He is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot. He earned his juris doctor from the Liberty University School of Law.
