Centennial celebration

Family and friends of Willie Rogers, a St. Petersburg resident and member of the Tuskegee Airmen, celebrate after the Association for the Study of African American Life and History presented him with a centennial pin Wednesday at the St. Petersburg Museum of History. The veteran, who is 100 years old, also received an original portrait, right.

St. Petersburg resident Willie Rogers, who was also a member of the famed Tuskegee Airmen during World War II, is honored in St. Petersburg.
