The Whole Foods store at the Countryside Mall in Clearwater has re-opened after a fire caused the store to fill with smoke and close on Thursday.
An employee who answered the phone at the store Friday morning said it was now open. A manager declined to comment further.
The store was closed Thursday morning after a fire in the vent system filled the store with smoke, Clearwater Fire & Rescue reported.
Fire crews were called to the store at 270001 U.S. 19 N. just after 8 a.m. Thursday. Firefighters got into the vent system and extinguished the fire, a news release states.
No one was injured.
The mall said in a Facebook post that it opened at 11 a.m. Thursday.
