The City of St. Pete Beach wants you to get your feet in the sand for the Memorial Day holiday. From May 28-31, the city is offering a flat rate of $15 for all-day parking. This rate will also be available Friday through Sunday for the Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends.
According to a press release, “The intent is to make it more attractive and affordable to spend the holiday exploring St. Pete Beach.”
And in Pass-A-Grille, the city of St. Pete Beach has installed sensors allowing beachgoers with the Park Smart app to see parking availability along Pass-A-Grille Way in real time. The program is set to launch Memorial Day weekend.
“We’re using technology to improve the beachgoing experience,” said Alex Rey, St. Pete Beach city manager.
