Tampa police need help solving Mulberry Street murder

A man with a gunshot wound was found in a front yard on Nov. 16, but no arrest has been made.

TAMPA — Detectives need the public’s help to solve a Nov. 16 homicide that took place in the 9400 block of N Mulberry Street.

Officers were called to the scene at about 11:18 a.m. There, in the front yard, they found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment but died soon afterward, according to Tampa Police.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was random. It took place during a family argument, police said, which resulted in the man being shot. The man’s name has not been released by police.
