TAMPA — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is looking for a man accused of snapping a duck’s neck with his bare hands on Thursday in the Town 'N Country area, according to Bay News 9.
A witness told Bay News 9 that they saw a man in a red vehicle, likely an SUV or crossover, drive inside the Park at Lake Como Apartment homes and catch the attention of ducks using bread. Bay News 9 is withholding the name of the witness.
The man then grabbed one of the ducks, killed it, then put its body in his vehicle and drove away.
The witness filed a complaint with the Fish and Wildlife Commission. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-3922.
