Robbers hit two Shell gas stations in Tampa

The robberies occurred early Tuesday morning at the convenience stores located on Parkedge Drive and N Florida Avenue.

TAMPA — Tampa Police are investigating two robberies that occurred early Tuesday morning.

The suspects hit two Circle K stores that sell Shell gas. The suspects went to the first one located at 8210 Parkedge Drive at 2:20 a.m. and the other Circle K located at 5320 N Florida Avenue nearly two hours later.

The suspects have not yet been identified. They did not appear to be armed, police said, but were wearing masks.

The investigation is ongoing.
