No arrest made after man is killed in Temple Terrace shooting

TEMPLE TERRACE ⁠— Investigators are looking into a deadly shooting that took place Monday, according to Temple Terrace police, but no arrest has been made.

A 911 call was made at about 4:23 p.m. Monday, police said, reporting a shooting had taken place at 112 S Burlingame Ave.

Officers said Eric Hansen was wounded by gunfire at the home. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have identified the shooter, who knew the victim. No arrest was made as of Tuesday. Temple Terrace police say the investigation is continuing and detectives are consulting with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. No other details about the shooting were released by police.
