Authorities have arrested a woman in connection with a shooting death at a Tampa apartment complex in September.

Christina Robles, 33, was taken into custody in New Jersey on Monday in connection with a Sept. 13 shooting at Tzadik Oaks Apartments, 1266 E. 113th Ave., Tampa police said.

Police responded that night to a report of a shooting and found a male victim who had been shot to death. The victim’s name has not been released.

Detectives determined that Robles was involved in the shooting and after interviewing witnesses and viewing video surveillance, they secured a warrant for her arrest on charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon, police said.

Police said they also determined that she had fled to New Jersey and contacted authorities there asking for help locating her. The U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force in New Jersey took her into custody.

She is being held in a New Jersey jail awaiting extradition to Tampa.
