One dead in early-morning Tampa apartment fire

TAMPA — One person is dead in a Tuesday morning apartment fire.

Tampa Fire Rescue received a 911 call at 4:12 a.m. about a fire at 5912 N Nebraska Ave., address of the Live Oak Cabins apartments.

“There is a single reported fatality at this time,” Fire Rescue said in a news release.

Because of the death, the Arson Task Force was called in to investigate.
